Speaking Opportunities

NYIA offers a variety of speaking opportunities throughout the year—from our Annual Conference to our Legal Roundtables. If you or someone on your team has insights to contribute on issues impacting New York's property and casualty insurance industry, we welcome your proposal.

Call for Speakers

Thank you for your interest in speaking at one of NYIA’s upcoming events. We are always looking for interesting and innovative content leaders. There are a variety of opportunities to speak at NYIA events.

Presenting at a NYIA event offers a valuable opportunity to share your expertise with leaders from across New York’s property and casualty insurance community. Speakers gain visibility among key industry decision-makers, contribute to important conversations shaping the market, and expand their professional network through direct engagement with peers, regulators and policymakers.

Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis, but early submissions are encouraged. To have your presentation considered by NYIA’s Education and Conference Committee Meeting, submissions must be received before January 1, 2026.

The best way to submit your proposal is by contacting Kaitlyn Flynn at kflynn@nyia.org. When submitting, please provide your contact information, presentation topic/title and a brief description of the program(s) you are looking to submit. Submissions will be considered for all events and programs. You may indicate a preferred forum, though final placement will depend on best fit.

Audience

Participants in our events come from all sectors and levels of the property and casualty insurance industry, as well as a wide range of associated industries, including executive management.

Presentation Guidelines

NYIA welcomes presentations that address current challenges facing the New York property and casualty market—from legislative/regulatory pressures and fraud to litigation trends and market innovation.

Please note that all presentations should be substantive in nature and not include any information that promotes a specific product or service. All presentation proposals will be considered but are subject to review and approval by the association. If your session or topic is not featured this upcoming year, we will keep your information on file for future consideration.
